Code of Conduct
Code of Conduct
All direct suppliers have signed our Code of Conduct, rooted in the UN Global Compact, setting clear expectations for ethical behaviour throughout our supply chain.
Accountability through audits and engagement
Accountability through audits and engagement
In addition to our Code of Conduct, and to ensure that our standards are upheld in practice, all direct suppliers and main plating factories undergo annual third-party audits through Sedex, using the SMETA 4-Pillar standard.
All audit results are carefully reviewed, and where issues are identified, corrective actions are initiated to ensure continuous improvement. The SMETA 4-Pillar framework helps us align our supply chain with both our own values and international expectations for responsible business conduct.
We maintain a local quality office near production sites and engage regularly with suppliers to support transparency and progress.
Our Ethical Purchasing Policy
Our Ethical Purchasing Policy
We have an Ethical Purchasing Policy in place to ensure we take responsibility for how our products are made – not just by setting high standards for our suppliers, but by committing to ethical behaviour ourselves.
We place strong emphasis on responsible sourcing practices. We strive to follow fair purchasing practices by respecting deadlines, avoiding last-minute changes, and working to ensure fair pricing – helping reduce the risk of issues such as forced overtime or underpayment.
Putting people first
Putting people first
At Pilgrim, we value a diverse, inclusive, and respectful culture, where everyone has equal opportunities, regardless of background, identity, or seniority. Our goal is to build a workplace where people feel empowered, supported, and able to thrive – both professionally and personally.
Pilgrim is built on the belief that a positive workplace creates better results. We continuously improve policies supporting inclusion, wellbeing, and work–life balance.
Designed for every soul
Designed for every soul
Our jewellery is designed to be inclusive and adaptable – and most pieces are adjustable in size and versatile in style. We believe in creating space for everyone to express themselves freely – moving fluidly between styles, identities, cultures, and sexualities.
Giving back
Giving back
We are committed to supporting causes that reflect our values of compassion, inclusion, and social responsibility. We do not support political parties, political organizations, or any form of lobbying.
Instead, our charitable contributions go to independent, humanitarian efforts that aim to improve lives without political influence. One example is our long-standing partnership with Doctors Without Borders, whom we have supported since 2003.
Each year, especially around Christmas, we also support local organizations working for good.
